Her performances in Spamalot's initial West End production, the Regent's Park revival of Into the Woods and The Wizard of Oz (as the Wicked Witch of the West) are among her most memorable. Her work has earned three Olivier Award nominations. In 2015, she was a part of Game of Thrones' fifth series as Septa Unella. Additionally she was the main role of Septa Unella in the 2012 film adaptation of Les Miserables. Waddingham has been nominated as a Golden Globe Award nominee.
