Lily Rabe
American actress Lily Rabe. Her most well-known work is her roles in FX's horror show American Horror Story (2011-2021). The show was nominated for the Tony Award as Best Actress in a Play for her role in The Merchant of Venice. Film credits include What Just Happened (2008), All Good Things (2010), Pawn Sacrifice (2014), Miss Stevens (2016), Golden Exits (2017), Vice (2018), Fractured (2019) and The Tender Bar (2021). In the television world, Rabe also appeared in the series The Whispers (2015), The Undoing (2020), The Underground Railroad (2021) and The First Lady (2022). Rabe's screen debut was in 2001 opposite Jill Clayburgh, her mother. She made her stage debut, again opposite her mother at the Gloucester Stage Company in Massachusetts. Two one-act productions by Israel Horovitz, Speaking Well of the Dead, as well as The Crazy Girl, by Frank Pugliese were the roles which resulted in her being awarded an Equity Card. In July 2003 she appeared in Proof by David Auburn at the Gloucester Stage Company. She also appeared in the movie Mona Lisa Smile. Following graduation, she went back to New York. Deirdre was a part of White Jesus from September 29 through October 2, 2004, one of several one-act shows that were performed by The Democracy Project at The Naked Angels Theater Company.
